z/Scope Secure Tunnel tool will allow you to easily create and configure an http/s gateway to communicate with tn5250, tn3270 and VT hosts. Any Socks-aware emulator of your choice can provide the telnet connection to these hosts, and z/Scope Gateway tunnels it into the HTTP or HTTPS protocol.
